Velvet Moon’s songs are intimate and touching as Sandra Bjurman writes uncensored from her everyday life. We are invited to share both conquers and struggles, but also conscious context concerning our society and the globe. Stefan Örn and Johan Glössner create the most beautiful yet raw landscapes,
and the listener travels through Velvet Moon’s many rich colors and strong emotions. Recently, they released a cover of “Running Scared”, the winning song in Eurovision 2011 that they wrote, as a celebration of their 10 year anniversary. 

During the first three albums, the band has been recognized all over the world, and was no. 1 on Spotify’s viral list in Indonesia. The music is widely used by bloggers around the world, and right now you can hear Velvet’s music in TV commercials on one of Sweden’s largest TV channels, as they have a collaboration with both Kappahl and the champagne brand Bollinger.

Velvet Moon’s fanbase is spread out and wide in range, often one family’s many members are all fans. Their 4th album “Solid Ground Can’t Carry Me Now” will be released early spring 2023 and we have been promised many more fantastic stories, but also some more Fleetwood Mac inspired tunes.
